Cookie Policy
Last updated: 10 July 2026 · Version 1.0
Seekopro uses very few cookies, and none of them are for advertising. Here's exactly what we use and why.
What we use
- Login session — a cookie that keeps you signed in, set by our authentication provider (Supabase). Without it, you'd need to log in on every page.
- View-count session — a random, anonymous identifier that stops us counting the same visit to a business profile or photo more than once per day. It contains no personal information and isn't linked to your identity.
- hCaptcha — when you sign up, hCaptcha sets its own cookies to tell humans from bots. This is set by hCaptcha (Intuition Machines, Inc.), not by Seekopro directly — see hCaptcha's own privacy policy for details.
- Theme preference — a local, on-device setting (not sent to our servers) that remembers whether you chose light, dark, or system appearance.
What we don't use
- No advertising cookies.
- No cross-site tracking.
- No cookies that build a profile of you for marketing.
How to opt out
The login-session and view-count cookies are necessary for Seekopro to function — you can block them in your browser's settings, but the app won't work properly without them (you won't be able to stay logged in, for example). hCaptcha's cookies only appear on the signup page and can be controlled through your browser's cookie settings. Since none of our cookies are used for advertising, there's nothing to opt out of on that front.
